報告題目: Diffusion within cement based materials: from experiment to multiscale modelling

Abstract: In the areas of civil engineering and of the nuclear fuel cycle, researches are interested on the properties of diffusive transport within the pore network of cement based materials. They concern the radionuclides diffusion to evaluate the properties of concrete containment and diffusion of chemical species (ions or gases) related to the concrete degradation. After a brief description of the materials microstructures, both liquid and gas diffusion tests are described. Analytical and numerical models are also presented with some practical cases.
