    Yan Wang is William Smith Foundation Dean’s Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Associate Director of Center for Resource Recovery and Recycling (CR3) at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). His research focuses on fundamental electrochemistry and electrochemistry-based technologies including electrolysis, lithium ion batteries, solid state batteries, fuel cells, battery recycling, material recovery and sustainability. He co-founded Battery Resourcers Inc in 2015 to commercialize the lithium ion battery recycling technology developed in his lab. In 2016, he also co-founded AM Batteries LLC to realize commercial application of self-designed battery electrode manufacturing technology.

    Wang Yan教授是威廉·史密斯基金會機械工程系主任、伍斯特理工學院資源回收再利用中心副主任。他的研究方向涉及基礎電化學和電化學技術，包括锂離子電池、固态電池、燃料電池、電池回收、材料再生與可持續等研究領域。他分别于2015年和2016年合作創辦了兩家電池公司，并實現了實驗室自主研發的锂離子電池回收技術和電極制造技術的商業化應用。
